Contact-form submissions are sent directly to [email protected] and are not stored in a database.

The Site uses GoDaddy/Airo's built-in analytics. This information is processed and retained by GoDaddy/Airo according to its own privacy and data-retention practices. We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or third-party advertising trackers.

GoDaddy/Airo may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for hosting, security, functionality, and built-in analytics. Welcome to the Library™ has not independently enabled advertising cookies, personalized advertising trackers, or behavioral advertising tools. 3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

Newsletter subscribers: To send you editorial updates, essays, episodes, and other communications from Welcome to the Library™. Your email is used solely for this purpose.
Contact-form submissions: To read and respond to your message. Your submission is received in our business email inbox and is not used for any other purpose.
Analytics data: To understand general Site usage and improve the visitor experience.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

Newsletter subscribers: Your email address and subscription record are retained for as long as your subscription is active. If you unsubscribe, your record is marked inactive and retained to honor your opt-out preference and maintain an accurate suppression list. You may request permanent deletion at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Contact-form submissions: Messages received through the Connect form are retained in our business email inbox only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain records of our correspondence, or comply with applicable legal obligations. We do not retain contact messages in any database.

Analytics data: Usage data collected by the GoDaddy/Airo platform is retained according to GoDaddy's data retention policies, which are outside our direct control.

Unsubscribe from the newsletter: Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately marks your subscription inactive. You will not receive further emails.
Request deletion: To request permanent deletion of your subscriber record or any other personal information we hold, contact us at [email protected].
Access or correction: To request a copy of the information we hold about you, or to correct inaccurate information, contact us at the same address.

We will respond to all requests within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Children's Privacy

Some content may feature children or explore subjects accessible to younger audiences, while other content may address themes intended for mature audiences.
